The perfect date night show comes to Trustus Theatre this summer. First Date, Broadway’s musical comedy, opens on the Thigpen Main Stage on Friday, June 17th and runs through July 16th. The show features an ensemble cast led by Trustus Company members Michael Hazin and Brittany Hammock, and includes Company members Kevin Bush, Robin Gottlieb, and Jonathan Monk, as well as Rachael Mitchum and Jacob Wilson.
Trustus Theatre is reviving their runaway hit I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change for four weeks this October. The show saw great success in 2001 and was brought back again for the following season in 2002.
Trustus Theatre opens their 35th Anniversary Season with the 1971 Tony Award-Winning musical, Company. Originally set in the '70s, this production has been reimagined to a modern landscape where swiping right, liking, and sharing are all part of starting a relationship and will leave us pondering how true human connections begin these days. Company will open up on The Thigpen Main Stage on Friday September 27, and will run through Saturday, October 26, 2019. Shows will run Thursday through Sunday for five packed weekends. Audiences have been clamoring for it for nearly five and a half years, and Trustus Theatre is set to deliver a tasty theatrical treat this March: they're bringing back 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche! This play made its Trustus Theatre debut in Season 28 and was such a hit that when it came back in Season 29, the entire run was sold out before opening night! It is a delightfully bawdy, slightly over-the-top, fun production will have you laughing from the first line through the final bows. 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche will open in the Fellowship Hall at Reformation Lutheran Church on Friday, March 8, 2019 and will run through Sunday, March 17, 2019.
